These terms apply when you use clearlifeplans.com or take our quiz. Clear Life Plans is run by HS Ventures Inc. ("Clear Life Plans", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What Clear Life Plans does

Clear Life Plans is a free service. You answer a few questions, and we connect you with one licensed insurance agent in your state, who goes over your life insurance options with you. There's no cost to you and no obligation to buy anything.

Clear Life Plans is not an insurance company, an insurance agent or a government agency. Licensed agents offer coverage from the insurers they represent.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States. We can only connect you with an agent in a state where we have one. If we don't have one in yours, the quiz tells you before it asks for your details.

Your information

The information you give us must be true, and the name, email address and mobile number must be your own.

You can take back this consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, tell the agent or the person calling you, or email [email protected]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

When you tap Text me my code, we text a 6-digit code to the mobile number you gave, to confirm it's yours. We send a new code only when you ask for one. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No guarantee

We don't guarantee that you'll be offered coverage, a particular price or approval for a policy, or that an agent will call by a set time. Prices and approval depend on things like age and health, and the insurer decides them.

The agent

The agent we connect you with is independent: they don't work for Clear Life Plans. They're responsible for their own advice, the coverage they offer and how they contact you. Any policy you buy is between you, the agent and the insurer.

Limits on our liability

Our website and service are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what an agent or insurer says, does or decides.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or our service. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the state where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. The version in effect when you take the quiz applies to that request.
